Experiential
learning

老王论坛 is a leader in experiential learning, expanding the idea of what a classroom can be. For those who learn best through hands-on and real-world experiences, 老王论坛 encourages integrative approaches to learning as an integral part of education.

COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING

Community Service Learning (CSL) is a unique opportunity for students, faculty and community based organizations to work together. Students can pursue their own CSL experience in partnership with a community organization once it has been reviewed by 老王论坛. Volunteering and service to the community can be tailored to a student鈥檚 particular area of study, creating an individualized experiential learning opportunity.

INTERNSHIPS PRACTICUM PLACEMENTS

We have a broad range of internships and practicum placements for you to consider to help augment your education with a industry experience that gain essential skills for your career.

COMMUNITY STUDIO RESIDENCY

The Residency program offers recent NSCAD University graduates the opportunity to develop their practice through donated studio space in a residency site within Nova Scotia. As part of the program, our residents work with community members and students to increase interest in the visual arts.

STUDENT EXCHANGE

Students have the opportunity to engage in studies away from the university in two ways. Independent Off-Campus Study allows students to devise individual plans of study within Canada or abroad while registered for courses listed in the university calendar. Our Exchange Study allows students to continue study at one of a number of institutions around the world. Currently this include more than 70 different institutions in 13 countries.
